Although shopping in Barcelona would not be quite the same as in Paris or Milan, this city is defiantly amongst Europe's cities of style. If you are fashion conscious then there is no shortage of supply of design outlets for even the most determined consumer. You can find everything from jewels to books, designer furniture to cava. Many a pleasant (if expensive) day has been spent browsing the streets and shops of this beautiful city. The best shopping areas in the heart of Barcelona are Passeig de Gracia, and the streets to its southwest also including the Buleyard Rosa arcade just north of Carrer d'Arago, and Barri Gothic streets such as: Carrer de Portaferrissa, Carrer de la Boqueria, Carrer del Call, Carrer de la Llibreteria and Carrer de Ferran, and around Placa de Sant Josep Oriol. |
